Welcome to Wilton

Classic New England beauty with a modern flair

Is it possible to have storybook New England charm with colonial homes, cobblestone streets, and old glacial stone boundary walls, mixed with an unbelievable nightlife, world-famous shopping, and unlimited big-city amenities? It is if you live in Wilton, Connecticut. This town was once called Norwalk and was settled in 1651. The farming community grew, and some of its residents became Revolutionary War heroes. Not to be outdone, in the mid-1800s some residents went on to become part of the Underground Railroad. In 1882 it was officially incorporated as the town of Wilton. How’s that for historic roots?
